Truth = Love
The idea for the Soul to Sisterhood book came about through my work as a psychotherapist and facilitator of the Divine Mommy Groups. Week by week, I would be humbled by the stories I was hearing. I was also struck by the sheer determination of these women to follow their gut and to trust their instincts. So much of the Divine Mommy work is about cultivating the relationship we have with our wise and intuitive inner guidance. In creating this book, I knew I wanted to offer readers many different ways to explore this side of themselves. Crystal wisdom, journaling activities, book suggestions, and more came about as ideas to offer multi-disciplinary approaches for self-compassion and self-understanding. It took almost four years to finish this project. At times, I wondered if it would ever get done. However, four years isn’t long when my hope is that this book offers readers a lifetime’s worth of healing and transformation
