Shelby
Shelby is a multi-passionate being who does not identify with one unique train of thought. She believes in living a whole-hearted approach to what her truth is in any moment and she empower others to do the same. Her values are encompassed by the Bob Marley tune, “Love is My Religion.” For her, it all comes down to love- being love, giving love, seeking love, and receiving love. Being able to experience raising both a daughter and a son has given her the honor of supporting the growth of her children. Her daughter offers her the opportunities to parent in a way that promotes feminine softness and feminine empowerment. Raising her son, she is gifted with the opportunity to break down traditional gender stereotypes and with comfort, love and supported expression, she is able to heal her bloodline. In doing this, she regards and respects where her children are in the present moment, where they’ve been, and where they are going in the future. Being a mother also gives her a deeper perspective into her own life because it causes her, on a daily basis, to reconnect with her inner child. Paying attention to her inner-child and giving her what she needs, which is often pushed to the wayside when being an ‘adult,’ is an important process for Shelby in all of her personal and professional relationships. Professionally, her focus is on creating ways to empower people to acknowledge their inner healers by offering education, holistic alternatives, and sharing her diverse understanding and expansive wisdom of the CBD industry. For Shelby, CBD is a powerful conduit for teaching our bodies how to heal themselves and she is excited to be part of an industry that is causing medicine to be ‘of the people,’ as well as allowing us as a ‘human community’ to reconnect to Mother Earth. She is excited to be a part of the Soul-to-Sisterhood Project. For Shelby, she feels that this book will offer the Mother-Hug that we as women need, as well as provide the connection for sisterhood that women have thrived on for millennia. Shelby wants everyone to remember- “you are not alone, your story is unique, and you are supported.”
