Hi, I’m Jamie Day— creator, therapist, teacher, writer, guide, friend, mother, wife, and proud weaver of sacred spaces.

I believe in the healing power of beauty, presence, community, and truth. I believe that when we come together in authenticity—whether in Ceremony, Circle, or creative expression—we remember who we truly are. And I believe we are here to Become.

I’m the founder of the Divine Mommy Movement, and my work lives at the intersection of psychotherapy, drama therapy, expressive arts, Sacred Feminine spirituality, and grounded ritual. With master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Interdisciplinary Arts, plus years of experience working with individuals, families, and trauma survivors, I now walk a more spiritually-aligned path—one that honors both clinical insight and divine mystery.

I’ve led circles and ceremonies, facilitated courses and retreats, written books and birthed programs—but my greatest creations are my daughter and my marriage. They are the heart of my Becoming.

I come from a long line of powerful, creative, passionate women, and I carry their legacy with reverence. Whether I’m barefoot around a fire, singing to my plants in the garden, making medicine jewelry, or stirring a pot of vegan deliciousness, I move through life as a devotion to those who came before me—and those who will come after.

My work is about remembering. Remembering the ancient wisdom in our bodies. Remembering the stories erased from our history. Remembering the Sacred Feminine and Masculine within us all. Through writing, teaching, traveling, and gathering in sacred community, I’m devoted to reclaiming the her-stories, healing the wounds of separation, and creating a world where all beings are respected and included.

Learn More About Jamie

I hold Master of Science degrees in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Interdisciplinary Arts from Nova Southeastern University, and a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Northern Kentucky University. For eight years, I worked as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist before choosing to relinquish my license in order to step fully into a more spiritually aligned professional path — one that weaves together my clinical background with the sacred energies of the Feminine and Masculine.
Today, I work in private practice with individuals, couples, and families, blending psychotherapy, drama therapy, and sacred feminine wisdom. My approach is deeply holistic, intuitive, and trauma-informed.
Over the past 12+ years, I’ve had the honor of working with a wide range of people — from survivors of human trafficking and at-risk teens, to military families, bereaved parents, individuals with PTSD, and women recovering from addiction. I’ve led expressive arts therapy groups, parenting workshops, and healing circles for women, children, and families navigating complex emotional landscapes.
I’m specially trained in Infant Mental Health, Trauma-Informed Care, the Circle of Security Parenting model, and Parenting Education. Whether I’m facilitating a sacred circle, writing transformational curriculum, or guiding a one-on-one session, my work is devoted to invoking strength, deep connection, and soul-aligned empowerment.
